Tree of Life Ministries is sharing the Gospel with Israelis through videos, websites, evangelistic materials, street evangelism, and special outreach events.
We’re equipping the Body of Messiah in Israel through children’s ministry, evangelism training, discipleship, and worship training.
Ariel and Shayla Hyde
Ariel comes from a background rich in ministry experience, having served the Lord with his family in the U.S., Germany, and Israel. He graduated from Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL), with a double major in Communication and International Relations. He served in the Israel Defense Forces, representing Israel to international organizations and embassies.
Ariel’s passion for Yeshua (Jesus) and love for the lost stir him to a lifestyle of sharing the Good News on the streets, buses, grocery stores, and everywhere in between. His heart is to equip others to effectively share the Gospel. He leads an evangelism team that has seen great fruit as they reach out to Israelis on the street, showing God’s love in practical ways, praying for the sick, and sharing the Gospel.
Ariel also leads an evangelistic media team, which produced, among other videos, “The Forbidden Chapter – Isaiah 53,” which now has over 5 million views around the world, by God’s grace. Thousands of seekers have contacted the team through social media. He also wrote, together with his father, “Supernatural or Just Remarkable” a booklet used widely in outreach in Israel.
Shayla grew up as a pastor’s daughter and has been serving in ministry from a young age. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Music Education at Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL), while being mentored for three years in Collegiate Master’s Corps, an intensive ministry training program. She has taught music, led worship and served in ministry to children in the U.S., Thailand, and Israel.
Shayla leads the children’s ministry at Carmel Congregation, and has a heart for discipling children and equipping them to serve the Lord from a young age. She has run a worship training program for people of all ages. That ministry is currently on hold, since she’s also a mother to three young disciples of Yeshua, whom she’s training to host, serve, and reach out.
Ariel and Shayla are actively involved in the Messianic congregations Kerem-El and Carmel Congregation in Haifa, Israel, serving through leading a homegroup, children’s ministry, leading outreach teams, translation, special performances, and worship. They love to lead others into the presence of God through worship with piano, harp, flute, and voice.
