Did you know that more than 200,000 children are being killed every day? How could such a horrible thing be happening? It’s happening because critical information is being hidden from us – information that could save these children's lives.
So what, exactly, is being hidden?
First of all, almost no one is telling a woman before her abortion, that just 21 days after conception, the baby in her womb is not only alive, but his heart is already beating!
What else aren’t they telling us?
That from the moment of conception, the moment that the man’s sperm unites with the woman’s egg, a new human life begins with new DNA, unique to that child.
So what they’re hiding is that every “termination of pregnancy”, abortion, actually ends a person’s life.
A person who could have been with us, could have been our daughter or son; a unique person with no one else like her; a person with a future and the ability to contribute something special to society; a person whose life is a gift.
It’s true – there are a lot of things that put pressure on us to have an abortion – family, financial and social pressures – but above all else, what we need to remember is that what hangs in the balance, is a human life. It’s not just a “clump of cells” in your womb – it’s your baby. And she’s already alive and getting ready to come out and make her mark on the world!
How could we choose to abort and cut off her life?
So what happens in an “abortion”? What do they actually do to a mother and her baby? This is something else that’s been hidden from us. But the time has come to expose it.
When they say “Medical Abortion,” using abortion pills, what it means is, they starve the baby to death. How? The baby’s blood supply and nourishment is cut off, and then he dies. The mother suffers strong contractions and significant amounts of bleeding, until the baby is forced from the womb, usually into a toilet.
And when they say, “Aspiration Abortion,” what it means is, they tear the baby into tiny pieces, including her legs, her arms, and her beating heart. How do they do it? They use a suction machine 10-20 times more powerful than a household vacuum cleaner. Then any remaining body parts are scraped out of the uterus.
When they say, “Dilation and Evacuation Abortion,” what it means is, they rip off the baby’s body parts one at a time. How? They grasp each body part using a steel clamping tool and tear it away. Then they crush the head and brain and pull all of the pieces out of the womb.
And when they say, “Induction Abortion,” what it means is, they inject the baby with a substance that stops the heart and kills the baby. Then, using chemicals, they cause the mother to undergo contractions and a full labor – but in this case, she gives birth to a dead baby.
We know, it’s not easy to take in everything that we just saw and heard. But unfortunately it's the truth.
Every year around the world over 70 million precious babies lose their lives this way. Over 1.8 billion in the last 30 years.
But this doesn’t have to continue this way. There's something that every one of us can do.
